Palliative Medicine Physician - Royal Columbian Hospital

Job Summary

Accomplished part‑time (0.2 FTE) palliative care physician to support a 15‑month parental leave (Sept 2026 – Jan 2028). You will work alongside other palliative care physicians to provide consultation services to acute care and community‑based patients across the Fraser Health Authority.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
• Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Preference to candidates who have completed additional training in palliative medicine:
• One‑year enhanced‑skills residency and Certificate of Added Competence through the College of Family Physicians of Canada, or
• Two‑year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine.
