Painter and Decorator

Job Overview

To carry out and decorating work, including surface preparation and the application of paints, finishes and minor wall make‑good, to ensure the Trust's buildings are presentable, well maintained and fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is carried out within the set priority for the task and report any uncompleted work to the Helpdesk.
• Support the wider Estates and Facilities Team by providing assistance to the multi‑skilled engineering and building craftsperson.
• Contribute to improving patient and visitor experience.
• Be a customer‑focussed point of contact for Estates and Facilities services.
• Demonstrate a logical and practical approach to tasks.
• Play a key role in the delivery of planned painting and decorating programmes as instructed by the Helpdesk and/or Line Manager.
• Perform day‑to‑day painting, decorating and minor make‑good repairs on the Trust's assets.
