Paediatric Practice Educator Emergency Department

Job Summary

Emergency Department Paediatric Practice Educator (Band 6) – 23 hours per week.

The Emergency Department Education Team looks for a highly motivated, well‑organised and innovative Paediatric Band 6 registered nurse to champion Paediatric education in the ED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and coordination of mandatory, statutory and induction training for nursing staff within the Division, in line with Trust policy.
• Take a key role in implementing the Divisional strategy for education, training and development for nursing, AHPs and other identified staff groups.
• Liaise with other groups to develop and deliver multi‑professional and inter‑professional education.
• Use information from appraisal processes to assist in coordinating a Training Needs Analysis.
