Oracle PL-SQL Developer

Role: Oracle PL-SQL Developer Location: Toronto, ON Duration: Long Term Contract

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database objects including tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
• Write and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to implement business logic.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using tools like Oracle Cloud Control, AWR reports, and EXPLAIN PLAN; optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for maximum scalability and speed.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database software; manage database storage, plan for capacity growth, and handle routine patching and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures, including data encryption, user access controls, and auditing to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop and execute strategies for database backup and disaster recovery using RMAN.
