About the Role

Hays are now looking for an Oracle Lead Developer for one of our local clients:


  • Circa £450 p/d Outside IR35
  • 6 month+ contract
  • Location is Glasgow
    • In the role you will drive the design and development of high-quality database solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping technical direction, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring developers within a fast-paced delivery environment.
    What you will be doing
  • Lead the analysis, design, and development of Oracle database solutions (Oracle 19c)
  • Develop and optimiseplex PL/SQL (procedures, packages, functions, views)
  • Collaborate closely with architects and business stakeholders to define solutions
  • Produce and maintain clear Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Own the full SDLC – from design through to testing and deployment
