About the Role
**Job role with Kelly for a Loader - 12-month contract role, based out in 26332 S Frontage Rd, Channahon, Il 60410**
**Mon to Friday - 8 am – 5pm, Pay rate: 23.84**
Job Summary
The Loader works under the supervision of the Crew Leader to efficiently load and unload materials from flatbed trucks and intermodal van trailers. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate and safe handling of materials, preparing loads for shipment, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping. The Loader works as part of a team and is expected to be proactive, reliable, and willing to work overtime during peak periods.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklifts to load and unload Styrofoam insulation board and other materials from flatbeds or intermodal van trailers.
+ Unload packaged raw materials, verify quantities against shipping documents, complete related paperwork, and transport materials to designated storage areas.
