Operations Manager for Chemical, Microbiology, and Environmental Lab

Overview

The primary function of the Head of Chemistry is to ensure the laboratories operate efficiently, within agreed budgets and to provide on‑time delivery of quality‑assured results to our internal and external customers. The role is strategic, managing overall laboratory operations, technical excellence, client and supplier relationships, HSE & Quality management, and efficient resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in the laboratory.
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and proper disposal of samples, chemicals, and consumables.
• Take responsibility for health and safety and stop work if conditions are unsafe.
