About the Role
The Operational Material Management Buyer is responsible for coordinating inventory management, ensuring SCM master data setup, handling product life cycle management, communicating with suppliers within ERP software, performing forecasting, order placement, risk mitigation, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives, and resolving moderate procurement issues.
**Your role:**
+ Communicates forecasts to suppliers, validates them, and ensures alignment between material planning and production planning through S&OP meetings
+ Places orders with suppliers and monitors delivery time, quality, and price, while also managing open orders and expediting when necessary
+ Generates purchase orders, resolves moderate issues, monitors consignment stock at suppliers, conducts regular stock takes and tracks materials provided to vendors.
