About the Role

The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia is seeking candidates with an interest in classical or non-malignant hematology for an open rank, open track faculty position. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.

The Classical Hematology Program at UVA is a dedicated team of physicians with expertise in caring for patients with a vast array of hematologic conditions, including disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, anemias, platelets disorders, bone marrow failure syndromes, myeloproliferative disorders, and other rare hematologic diseases. The successful candidate is expected to be a clinically active member of our team, providing care to adult patients in both the outpatient setting at the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center at UVA, as well as attending on the inpatient hematology consult service.
