Job Summary
8:15am-2:45pm (0.75FTE)
Brief Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Principal (or designee), assists a certificated teacher with classroom responsibilities; and, if assigned, to perform noon/yard duty, food service duties, and any other education program responsibilities as assigned.
Assignments:
-Implement educational support: Assist a specific student with learning concepts,
completing assignments, and achieving their goals as outlined in their Individualized
Education Plan (IEP).
-Provide behavioral support: Help manage and implement behavior management plans,
which may include using specific strategies, visuals, or other motivators to support the
student.
-Monitor and track progress: Keep records of the student's progress and report it to
teachers and other school staff.
-Reinforce instruction: Work with the student one-on-one to reinforce what is being
taught in the classroom.
