Overview

Oceanographic Data Scientist – MetOcean Solutions. MetOcean Solutions is a science-based consultancy and forecast supplier providing specialist numerical modelling and analytical solutions in meteorology and oceanography. The role is in our Research and Development team, supporting the collation, quality control, processing, and archiving of oceanographic observational datasets to assist in research projects and daily operations. The position initially contributes to the nationwide Moana research project, in collaboration with major oceanographic institutions in New Zealand.

Location: Raglan, with some opportunity to work from other offices in the future. This is a permanent full-time position with flexible hours to suit lifestyle.
