About the Role
Job Scope of Occupational Therapist:
All duties will be performed across foundation programs including recreational activities, early intervention, occupational therapy, speech therapy and behaviour therapy.
Assessing and diagnosing a wide range of motor, perceptual sensory and functional difficulties.
Develop treatment goals and plan interventions in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, child and family, making fine judgements about type and timing of treatment.
Delivering group and individual therapy as required.
Neurological upper limb movement, including splinting and casting and prescription of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Managing parental anxieties regarding intervention and prognosis.
Evaluate outcomes throughout the process and discontinue intervention as appropriate.
To be responsible for managing own time appropriately and priorities tasks accordingly in order to carry out clinically related administrative duties...
