Summary The Western New York VA Healthcare System is seeking a highly qualified full-time Nursing Assistant to serve as a member of the Acute Care (8D) Team located at the Buffalo VA Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. The Nursing Assistant functions as a member of the nursing care team and assists licensed nursing staff in care of patients. Nursing Assistant duties are performed in a variety of health care settings, and will care for patients with acute to chronic conditions. Responsibilities The Acute Care Nursing Assistant will perform appropriate care as delegated by a Registered Nurse. Nursing Assistants will assist medical personnel in the care and treatment of patients, including direct patient care.
