Position Details
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) at the RACE Clinic plays a critical role in delivering rapid, high-quality, and comprehensive cardiac assessment and care to patients with new or worsening cardiovascular symptoms. This position emphasizes timely evaluation, triage, diagnostic planning, and early intervention, ensuring patients avoid unnecessary emergency department visits or hospitalizations. The NP is part of a multidisciplinary team with expedited access to cardiology and cardiac specialty care. Patients requiring urgent assessment following an emergency department or primary care visit are seen at this clinic located at Kelowna General Hospital.
The clinic operates by appointment from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Salary range: $76.61/hour – $84.27/hour. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the range based on qualifications and experience.
