About the Role
Description
The Hematology Inpatient Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides advanced care to hospitalized patients with complex hematologic malignancies, including but not limited to leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma by implementing the appropriate 'standardized procedures' (SP). The NP functions with a high level of autonomy as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes attending physicians and fellows. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the comprehensive management of patients undergoing advanced therapies such as CAR-T cell therapy, bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapy, participation in clinical trials, and standard chemotherapy regimens. This role also includes the medical management of treatment-related toxicities and disease-related complications.
Salary range:
NP2 : $93.81-$133.97/hourly
NP1 (less than 6 months exp): $84.62/hourly
