About the Role
LabCorp is seeking a **Non-Registered Gross Tech** to join our team in **Seattle, WA**
**Location:** 550 17TH Avenue, Seattle WA
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00 PM
**Job Responsibilities**
**Receive and accession tissue specimens; verify patient identifiers and test orders.**
**Gross assist at a basic level (e.g., cassette labeling, tissue orientation support per SOP).**
**Process tissue on automated processors; monitor schedules, reagents, and run logs.**
**Embed tissues in paraffin with correct orientation and block documentation.**
**Microtomy: cut routine paraffin sections at required thickness; float, mount, and dry slides.**
**Perform routine H&E staining (manual or automated); assist with special stains and immunohistochemistry setup under supervision.**
