About the Role
**Overview**
The **NSO** expands and defends Microsoft’s addressable market in public sector and regulated industries by leading country-level **security, compliance, privacy, and sovereignty** engagements. The role partners deeply with **Corporate,** **External & Legal Affairs** **(** **CELA** **)** , **Engineering** , and **Field leadership** to strengthen the national **cyber foundation** , accelerate secure cloud & AI adoption, and serve as a **trusted external spokesperson** on Microsoft Security. The NSO also runs programs to **prepare for and respond to regulatory compliance requirements and local certifications** required to conduct cloud business in the country and to align the country’s end‑to‑end **Microsoft Security strategy** to local requirements.
