The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight of the cleanup and removal of ammunition, explosives, and other dangerous articles from the UTTR. This includes On Scene Commander, Range Residue Removal Manager, and Special Project Manager responsibilities for operational support within the organization. Responsibilities Performs the role as On Scene Commander of Recovery (OSCR) for all large footprint weapons requiring flight termination systems on the UTTR. Coordinates and assists in mission planning and execution to establish, revise, or review UTTR policies and procedures relating to recovery operations (weapons effects, target selection, EOD procedures, environmental impacts, etc.).
