MRI Technologist, Per Diem, NMC

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem MRI Tech for the Radiology Unit at Newton Medical Center. The shifts vary as needed.




Essential Job Functions:



The candidate selected for this position will:


+ The candidate selected for this position will promote a culture of healing, while accurately interpreting and performing all MRI imaging protocols

+ The candidate will practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards

+ Must demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment; including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment

+ Will abide by strict MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality

+ EPIC and PACS will be used to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation

+ Must be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media
