Overview

This is a 12‑month contract position for a MITER Maintainer based onsite at Woodbridge – RLC Stores (IP123LU). The role requires 40 hours per week and involves proactively maintaining a fleet of military and commercial MHE and plant vehicles, as well as associated ancillaries, within their engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of diesel, MOTS and electrical MHE and plant vehicles and ancillary equipment.
• Liaise with the controller and customer on expected work, clarifying timelines and costs.
• Identify the root cause of breakdowns and procure the correct parts cost‑effectively, utilizing available resources and technical teams when necessary.
• Inspect and check work during progression, ensuring equipment functions satisfactorily and safely before returning to the customer.
