Role Title: Mining Lawyer Location: Mumbai (On-site) Requirements: Key skills, qualifications, experience level, certifications, etc. Minimum Experience required – 15 years of post-qualification experience Mandatory qualification – LLB Mandatory requirement - Handling litigation and regulatory affairs pertaining to Mining (Iron, ore, coal, metal and major minerals) Job Description Litigation Effective handling of varied types of litigation, more specifically arising out of mines specifically Iron Ore, Coal, limestone, copper etc . Exposure before various forum, including but not limited to Supreme Court, High Court(s), Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Coal, Mines Tribunal, District and Sub Divisional Court etc. Advise business on regulatory issues under the MMDR Act and Rules made thereunder and in respect of various statutory clearances pertaining to the mineral block such as environment clearances, forest clearances, approval of mining plan etc. Coordination with external counsels / la...
