Responsible for the fabricating, assembling and installation of capital equipment within all our manufacturing facilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Proficient in welding and fabricating steel.Perform a variety of joining and fabrication activities.Weld and cut a variety of materials. This includes welding carbon steel using the SMAW and GMAW processes.Assembling and installing manufacturing machines to ensure they work correctly.Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.Align equipment by using specialized tools (e.g., micrometer, plumb bobs).Operation of an overhead crane, mobile crane and forklift as training allows.Rigging material and equipment.Maintain a safe and clean work area.Work at elevations up to 30 f...
