**Description:** Function
 Set up and operate a variety of semi-automatic milling machines to perform any semi-complex machining operation on diversified types and forms of materials including those on new or changed parts where methods and control tapes are available.
 Typical Responsibilities
 Follow general instructions, standard practices, complicated drawings, operation sheets, tape read-out sheets, and other written and oral instructions to plan, layout, set up and perform any standard machining operation.
 Input operations data into control panel as required.
 Recommend tape changes within standard practices to Supervision or Manufacturing Engineering.
 Perform set up and operation of established machining operations using available tapes.
 Use all standard and prescribed tools, fixtures, holding devices and other attachments to set up for rough and finish machining.
