Laboratory Generalist with Phlebotomy - Days Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days shift with no weekend requirements. Possible call if needed.

The Laboratory Generalist will be responsible for supporting and communicating laboratory initiatives and philosophies. This role includes collecting, processing, and receiving specimens (including blood, urine, fecal, and body fluid) for analysis across all departments of the clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and solve problems related to the collection and processing of biological specimens across all age ranges.
• Participate in the evaluation of new techniques and procedures in the laboratory.
• Perform complex laboratory procedures and recognize deviations from expected results.
• Analyze quality control data and make judgments concerning results to maintain accuracy and precision.
