The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional front office experience. This role manages a high-volume phone line, schedules and confirms appointments, and supports patient check-in and check-out processes to ensure smooth daily operations. The receptionist prepares patient charts ahead of visits, verifies and updates patient information, and answers general procedural questions while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
This individual will work closely with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow, assist with rescheduling and follow-ups, and provide clear communication to patients regarding appointments and expectations.
