Medical Assistant - Float Pool - Nassau

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant - Float Pool - Nassau.

In this role, the successful candidate Assists in the delivery of primaryHealth care and patient care management. Performs routine phlebotomy via venipuncture or finger stick and specimen collection. Complies with established policies and procedures, rules and regulations to the practice,Hospital, federal, state and local regulations. Diligent in observing allHIPAA guidelines. Travels to other office locations as required.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides quality patient care, including examination, diagnostic, medical equipment and instruments. Screens and triages patient telephone calls for referral to physician, as appropriate.
