Medical Administration Specialist (PACS)

Currently recruiting a Medical Administration Specialist (Picture Archiving and Communication System) (PACS) to provide PACS and radiology imaging informatics support services at Naval Medical Center San Diego in San Diego, California. The Military Treatment Facility operates 365 days per year, 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. PACS services are provided Sunday through Saturday, between 7: 00 a.M. And 6: 59 a.M., with shifts normally scheduled as 8.5-hour or 11-hour shifts to support 24-hour and weekend coverage. Weekend coverage may be scheduled on a rotating basis.




DUTIES OF THE MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION SPECIALIST (PICTURE ARCHIVING AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM) (PACS):

Monitor health care delivery plans, market forces, patient and beneficiary demand, and other issues impacting Military Treatment Facility capabilities, capacity, access to care compliance, and quality of care.
