Summary The Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography)- Lead will perform a variety of Neurodiagnostic and polysomnographic testing as well as the application of durable medical equipment (DME) program for any sleep related breathing disorder for patients. Within the Northern California care system and for patients covered under any sharing agreement with other facilities. Responsibilities The incumbent will perform Lead Technician functions which will include but is not limited to: Distribute and balance the workload among technicians that they will be leading, assure efficient, high quality and compassionate patient care. Track the status and progress of work among technicians that they will be leading, and make day-to-day adjustments, obtaining assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise, such as backlogs which cannot be completed promptly.
