MECHANICAL QAQC ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and other mechanical systems.
• Review project specifications, drawings and method statements to ensure proper of works.
• Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality checklists and related QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants and clients for inspection and approval of mechanical works.
• Issue NonConformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure materials used at site are approved and comply with project requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor quality performance and adherence to contract terms.
• Support testing and commissioning processes of mechanical systems.
