The Opportunity

As a Mechanical Layout Designer, you will play a key role in the design and optimization of layout design for heavy industrial projects across the subsector.

Location

This position will be located in one of our Canadian offices with preference for Northern Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models and layout general arrangements for existing plant upgrades and new facilities
• Review vendor drawings to ensure conformity with engineering designs prior to fabrication
• Prepare design calculations and design briefs
• Prepare design sketches
• Conduct trade‑off studies and prepare reports
• Participate in field engineering assignments
