About the Role
Core Responsibilities
- Work with teams to conceptualize, design and create drawings for mechanical parts, mechanisms and modules for material handling in semiconductor and surface mount inspection equipment.
- Assemble and test final hardware; create product drawings and project documents.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to fine‑tune specifications.
- Evaluate and select manufacturing methods and materials.
- Conduct design reviews and discussions with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and optimize designs.
- Define and execute test plans for design verification.
- Experience with machine vision concepts and requirements.
- Perform thermal, structural, tolerance and vibration analysis.
- 3+ years of direct relevant experience in mechanism design, designing custom machines and fabricated parts.
