Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a large fleet of equipment
• Perform routine maintenance, service, and repairs on farm vehicles and equipment, including heavy diesel equipment, passenger vehicles and diesel trucks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and brakes
• Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed, and inventory supply

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Farm diesel mechanic or in a similar role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
