Meat Scientist

Reporting to the Research and Development Manager, you will utilize your meat science expertise as part of the Refrigerated and Frozen Food Design Team, supporting innovation and margin expansion across brands such as Hebrew National, Odom’s Tennessee Pride, Banquet Chicken, Banquet Brown ’N Serve, and frozen dinner protein components.

**A Taste of Your Responsibilities**

+ Develop new products from concept development through successful commercialization
+ Design and conduct plant trials and support new product start‑ups
+ Create and manage product development schedules to meet project timelines
+ Work with pilot plant equipment to support formulation and process development
+ Learn and use the online specification system and workflow processes
+ Design and execute experiments and prepare results for technical review
+ Conceptualize and develop new product prototypes
+ Drive product cuttings, plant trials, and testing activities
