The Supply Chain (SC) organizational model includes materials management specialists at a site(s) currently supporting Resiliency with Utility Operations and Construction. The foundational SC knowledge and skills required for the position are the same regardless of location and may expand should Command implement in Transmission. The primary difference in the material management specialist roles is the additional level of expertise in the operating processes, practices, standards, and procedures required to support material availability. The Material Management Specialist is considered an intermediate level position in this job family and responsible for all the inbound and outbound material requests.
