About the Role
**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler to support operations at a large manufacturing facility in the eastern Indianapolis area. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently moving materials, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting production needs in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
**Training will be conducted on 1st shift, after which you will transition to 2nd or 3rd shift based on business needs.**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Pull, pick, and pack boxes weighing up to 50 lbs (approximately 1,000 boxes per shift).
+ Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks and tuggers to transport materials.
+ Occasionally operate a sit-down forklift to move palletized products.
+ Push fully loaded carts (up to 72 containers) approximately 10 times per shift.
+ Use RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate product movement.
