About the Role
**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As our Market President for the Houston market, you are responsible for developing and implementing strategic objectives and goals, allocating and managing capital/human resources, and general day-to-day operational accountability for assigned areas. Overall accountability and responsibility includes 1 quaternary care academic medical center, 8 acute care hospitals, and 2 free-standing Emergency Departments. You also have direct line authority over facility presidents overseeing multiple hospitals within Houston, including an academic medical center in the Texas Medical Center.
Every day you are responsible for producing exceptionally high employee engagement. This includes responsibility for the overall goal of increasing organizational effectiveness and revenues for assigned areas, developing annual operating budgets for those areas, and accountable for operating within established budgets.
