Manual Machinist (CNC BORER)

Location: Ashton-under-Lyne

Pay: £18–£20 per hour plus 20 hours weekly overtime at 1.3×, 33 days holiday, £500 annual bonus, £250 bi‑annual bonus.

Working hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm; Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Benefits: Unlimited overtime potential, 3 % pension contribution, training available.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate horizontal and vertical CNC boring machines.
• Manufacture and support a variety of services for the heavy engineering industry.
• Work flexible hours with the possibility of additional overtime.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC borer.
• Full capability with Fanuc controls.
• Offline programming experience is mandatory.
• Commutable to Ashton‑under‑Lyne.
