The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), a government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, is responsible for strategies that enhance Singapore’s position as a global centre for business, innovation and talent. EDB undertakes investment promotion and industry development, working with international businesses, both foreign and local, by providing information, connecting partners, and facilitating access to government incentives for their investments. The Innovation Strategy & Partnerships Division in EDB charts the agency’s vision toward an innovation-led economy by developing strategies to enhance the innovation ecosystem for foreign companies to create new products, services and businesses in Singapore.
