Maintenance Technician

Location: Solihull

Shifts: 3: shift rotation or double days (37 hrs/week + overtime)

Rates: A GBP 37.52 : A GBP 39.32 per hour (Umbrella), depending on shifts

A world‑leading automotive manufacturer in Solihull is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to support the production of prestige motor vehicles. The role begins on a contract basis, with the potential to progress to a permanent position after a minimum of 6 months.

The Role

Duties

• Preventive and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment
• Rapid fault diagnosis and root cause analysis
• Supporting continuous improvement, Kaizen, 5S and lean activities
• Maintaining compliance with PUWER and safety standards
• Delivering technical expertise to problem‑solving initiatives
