Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

Summary This position is in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Chillicothe VA Medical Center (VAMC). The position is in the Pipe Shop, Facilities Management Service (FMS) and works under the direct supervision of the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Supervisor and is established to provide full-time, first-level supervision for full-time employees. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Conducts risk assessments and develop plans for control of hazardous energy and safe work practices when system outages or repair work are conducted. Ensures hazards are analyzed and identified per OSHA requirements. Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to correct deficiencies found in the facility domestic water, critical water, steam distribution, condensate return, sanitary sewer, and stormwater drainage systems.
