Maintenance Coordinator

Summary This position is located in the Facilities/Maintenance Branch, Support Division, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department, Naval Station Great Lakes, IL Responsibilities Responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair and renovation projects and new construction as assigned within the Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department. Includes minor to major repairs, renovations and special projects for 25 buildings at eight sites. Responsible for implementation of repairs and renovations from planning stages throughout finished work. Manages an assigned workforce crew to meet specific jobs needs. Crew is assigned on a rotating basis, and may consist of maintenance mechanics for electrical, heating and air conditioning; Maintenance Workers for plumbing carpentry, etc. and Maintenance Helpers as general laborers.
