The primary purpose of this position is to ensure inbound and outbound mail is processed daily to avoid delays to service levels. Assists with oversight of the Postal Service Center (PSC), which provides services to dormitory residence. In the absence of the Postmaster covers all postmaster responsibilities. Responsibilities Assists with planning, organizing, and overseeing the activities of the OMC. Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies DoD 4525.8-M, Department of Defense Official Mail Manual, DoD 4525.6-M, Department of Defense Postal Manual. Assists with the establishment of policies and procedures for accomplishment of the OMC mission to include response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or customer requirements.
