**For entry level candidates, this role will work under direct supervision and will develop skills and build knowledge of various machine tools with goal of becoming competent to work independently.**
+ Assist in operation of machine tools such as; shear, saw, press break, head punch, milling, lathe, drill press, flaring, tube bending, tube polisher or pipe cutting activities according to production specifications and needs
+ Assist with verifying conformance of machined work to specifications using measuring instruments such as; calipers, micrometers, and fixed or telescoping gauges
+ Learn to read and interpret machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional specifications, sequences of operations, setups, and tooling requirements
