Machine Lubricator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Apply lubricants (oil, grease, etc.) to machinery and equipment according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications.
• Monitor lubricant levels, quality, and contamination; replace or filter lubricants as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections of bearings, gears, motors, and other moving parts for signs of wear or damage.
• Maintain accurate lubrication records including schedules, materials used, and maintenance actions taken.
• Assist diagnosing mechanical issues related to poor lubrication or contamination.
• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE when handling lubricants and working around machinery.
• Keep lubrication tools, equipment, and storage areas clean and organised.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• N2 – N3 + Mechanical qualification
• 3 years experience in a similar role (preferably in manufacturing)
