[LTA-P&P] SENIOR ECONOMIST / ECONOMIST

Overview. You will play a key role in analysing land transport policies and initiatives from an economic perspective in support of the Singapore Land Transport Authority’s (LTA) mission.

• Undertaking econometric and statistical analysis of individual travel behaviour
• Conducting research into patterns of transport‑related economic decisions
• Analyzing the market structure, economic efficiency, and effectiveness of regulation, competition and incentive frameworks in the land transport industry, applying relevant Industrial Organisation concepts
• Enhancing LTA’s thought leadership in economic analysis and supporting efforts to establish and promote connections with the wider community of researchers and practitioners in economics

• Knowledge in Economics with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of micro‑economics, especially with regard to transport issues
