About the Role
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate lorry crane to lift, move or reposition loads safety and precisely.
- Listen and carry out instructions given from ground crew or helpers via radio communication or hand signals.
- Direct helpers to position outriggers and blocks properly to prevent capsizing during heavy load lifting.
- Inspect, rig, and ensure that rigging applications are configured in accordance with the load chart and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assess loads to determine their weight and compare it against lifting capacity to prevent risk of overload.
- Interact closely with customer for accurate movement of materials and equipment.
- Inspect, clean and perform operator level maintenance in crane mechanism and hoisting components in accordance with standards.
