Long-term Primary SEND Teaching Assistant, West Bromwich

Job Description

We are working in partnership with a school setting in West Bromwich seeking to hire three full-time, long-term Teaching Assistants starting in September 2026, although if can start beforehand, the setting is happy to utilize additional staff to help with familiarity with the school.

This role will be working as part of their expanded primary age provision which supports children with SEND needs, primarily autism & complex needs.

While having previous school-based experiences would be useful, the school are happy to also hire applicants with transferrable experience from residential, care and support backgrounds.

These roles are all term-time only, working Monday to Friday for the hours of 08:30 start to 3:30 finish. These roles are long-term with the potential option for the school to transfer these roles to permanent dependent on funding to student numbers moving forward
