About the Role

  JOB SUMMARY  
 This position will take ownership of financial accounting, analysis, and budgeting of transportation and logistics, freight in, freight out, structuring financial forecasting in support of departmental initiatives, acquisitions, capital expenditures. The Logistics Controller will be responsible for managing the Transportation Admin group.

  ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES  
 Perform monthly close process for logistics, freight in, freight out. Provides financial insight to include ELT.
 Identify and pursue transportation freight claims, asset warranty adherence, and other cost recovery opportunities. File insurance claims for all equipment damages and accidents
 Responsible for operational budgets for logistics, and review of freight in, freight out, budgets.
 Develop and review monthly KPI's with the finance / accounting team and transportation and logistics management team.
