Logistics and Purchasing Officer

Our client is a leading provider of Accessories, Hosiery, Luggage, Gifts and Jewellery in Ireland and the UK. Due to exceeding growth within their business, they are looking for a Logistics and Purchasing Specialist to join their team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

Process Purchase Orders, to match agreed product prices and discounts if any

Product setup including descriptions, dimensions, and weight, etc.

Liaise with Product Coordinators / Designers

Coordinate shipping schedule and deliveries with the suppliers

Liaise with the Shipping Agents / Forwarders to ensure proper documents are provided for Custom’s clearance and follow-up queries.

Update shipping intake schedules from time to time

Cost Valuation

Answer phone calls, adhoc tasks
