Locum Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist

Job Summary

This is a 10 PA locum appointment for 2 Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetists, with special interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia. The post will be available from as soon as possible for a period of six months.

Responsibilities

• Support the paediatric anaesthetic team with 10 PAs.
• Work with other consultant colleagues in the provision of a comprehensive Anaesthetic service at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
• Participate in the undergraduate teaching programme for the School of Medicine, University of Leeds.
• Support service plans for the specialty, taking account of changes in clinical practice and new technologies available.
• Participate in and progress Clinical Governance.
• Maintain and expand the excellence of teaching and research already established within the Trust.
